€˜Overheard on Twitter’ Friday

Hi, Friends!

This edition of ‘Overheard on Twitter’ Friday comes to you straight from my couch, where I am currently planted while decked out in sweats a neon pink hoodie that happens to have ears on it. Ah, vacation days.

But even though I’m technically “off”, Twitter is not. In fact, Twitter’s been as busy as ever this week. You know the drill by now so let’s just get to it!

And now for the giggles:

And that wraps up my finds for the week. What’d I miss? You leave a comment, I have some daytime talk shows and 90210 reruns to watch. Huzzah!

  • Lisa – you really don’t know what you are missing, spam is one of those looks nasty but tastes great things.

I can’t believe you would lie me to like that, Jack. I thought we had bonded over our love for the Red Sox? Wow. Guess you can’t trust friendships formed on Twitter…

  • Lisa, I was looking up words that I thought existed, but wasn’t sure if they existed (like “squinching”). I figured I would check which of the words in my head and vocabulary actually existed. I did pretty good.

    Pat: You did pretty /well/.

  • Lisa… You need to visit Hawaii some day. Spam is like Hawaii Soul food! We celebrate it with parades and festivals a few times a year. (My signature is linked to a YouTube video of the “Waikiki Spam Jam”)

Ask Patrick… Every Mc Donalds in Hawaii serves it with almost every breakfast meal. Same with every restaurant. “Would you like Ham, Bacon, Sausage or Spam?” Most people choose the Spam.

My personal favorite is Chicken Fried Spam. There’s nothing quite like breaded & deep-fried Spam.

  • Speaking of new words, I started playing scrabble on facebook – OMG its SO addictive. And I never knew so many stupid words existed – I mean my alphabet loo roll has only simple words…

BTW Lisa, this is becoming my fav post – kind of like what Rebecca does with her weekly updates. Me like.

Rishil: I was completely addicted to Facebook Scrabble for awhile. And then I developed a horrible cheating problem while playing with my over-competitive little brother. It was either give up Scrabble or give up my brother. My brother won be a tile.

Glad you like the post. It’s growing on me. And whatever, Rebecca’s Roundup was such a rip off of Bruce Clay’s Friday Recap. [KIDDING BECS! :) ]
