Twitter Twitter... Except from mention count - does it have any value??? There is no content - one liners are not that important for a brand to really understand the market's need.

I suggest searching Google with "Past 24 hours" search and I also use Omgili & Omgili Buzz for searching for deep discussions about the brand or topic.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Monitter.com, which allows you to monitor any keyword phrase as it is mentioned live on Twitter. It's an essential tool for companies looking to respond to customer complaints or gripes within moments. That is advanced reputation management, and something few companies have the vision for (Zappos is one company that does).

Good writeup on the session. What the pannelists said is sort of regurgetated. What of the "sneaky" ways you sort of hint upon via Twitter?

For us Review Stream has gotten a pretty good foothold, but I've managed to keep them off page 1 for our branded terms for the most part, but occasionally they resurface. At this point, Ripoff Report is a non-issue for us. My3Cents kindly removed posts I found to be spam.

Thanks for this report Lisa. I'm very interested in the RipOff Report info. We're currently experiencing pesky rants showing up in the SERPs from them and trying to figure out how to deal with it.
